Creation and Evolution

Darwin Day

In December, a resolution was introduced in the Senate to designate Feb 12, 2016 as Darwin’s Day. It is Senate Resolution 337 and House Resolution 548. They recognize “Charles Darwin as a worthy symbol on which to celebrate the achievements of reason, science, and the advancement of human knowledge.” It also make it a point to state “the teaching of creationism in some public schools compromises the scientific and academic integrity of the United States education systems”.
