Birds in the Morning!

Bird Singing

It is not unusual for me to do my writing at night when there are few things to distract or interrupt me from my work. The night time is generally quiet and peaceful. There are, in most habitats, one or more animals (frogs, crickets, etc) that produce a background noise that can be quite soothing. But the sometimes I work late enough that I get to witness the dawning and the sunrise. The light is beautiful … often better than the sunsets. Suddenly, the animals are all active – insects, cats, dogs, bees, cattle, herds … whatever is around wakes up and welcomes the day by starting their routine.

Bird Singing

The most obvious and, perhaps, pleasant sounding are the birds. Not only the chickens, but kingbirds, honeycreepers, or whatever is around in that habitat start singing with all their gusto either welcoming the day or trying to attract a mate. It is a wonderful time to see life vigorous and ready to go into the day full swing.
